The reduction of frame rate or capping the time taken per frame are just kludges that don't really solve the problem, only hide it. ![]() On my system (M1 MacBookPro18,3, 16 GB RAM), it seems to be sufficient to set maximum_fps to 20fps, both on internal (3024x1964 Retina) and external (1920 x 1200) displays, with DSO images and equatorial grid turned on. This actually helped me quite a lot, too (I had previously not tried this because another user had reported that it basically didn't solve the issue). YES! If I set my minimum and maximum fps to 10, the fps is obviously a little low, but the responsiveness is perfect!
